What seemed so far last year comes closer and closer now – the Brexit. Due date is 29.03.2019 and still there is no clear settlement. The European Parliament now accepts emergency regulations in case England will leave the EU without any deal at all.
Once the Brexit comes into effect Englands status in terms of customs changes to a third county status. For shipments crossing the border from or to England a customs application will be necessary in future. Are you prepared already ?
You need to be registered with customs and to be in possession of a EORI-Number in order to submit customs applications. You can either submit your customs application via the respective national customs system or let you represent by a customs broker resp. forwarder. Should you have questions we will be glad to help you.
